DEMI MITTENS | Demi mittens are worked entirely flat. First, the cuff is worked sideways in garter stitch using both colors and is joined to create a tube using Kitchener stitch. Then, stitches are picked up from the cuff, and one side of the mitten is worked in color A. After that, the other side of the mitten is worked in color B. Lastly, the mitten is sewn at the side edges using mattress stitch.

DEMI HAT | Demi hat is worked entirely flat. First, the brim of the hat is worked sideways in garter stitch using both colors and is joined to create a tube using Kitchener stitch. Then, stitches are picked up from the brim, and one side of the hat is worked in color A. After that, the other side of the hat is worked in color B. Lastly, the hat is sewn at the side edges using mattress stitch.
