Workflow
GELMA SWEATER | Body of the sweater is worked flat in two, front and back, panels. When facing RS, panels are worked from right to left. After both panels are done, they are connected at the shoulders using a mattress stitch. Lastly, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, while also connecting front and back panels at the underarm.
GELMA SHORTS | Shorts are worked flat in two panels, left and right. Once both panels are completed, they are seamed together at the center front and center back. Stitches are then picked up for the gusset, which connects front and back of the shorts at the bottom. Finally, stitches are picked up for the waistband, which is worked and sewn down to create a casing for elastic.
