Body of the sweater is worked flat in two, front and back, panels. When facing RS, panels are worked from right to left. After both panels are done, they are connected at the shoulders using a mattress stitch. Lastly, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, while also connecting front and back panels at the underarm.
