About pattern
Rival Tee has a relaxed, cropped cut with a laid-back sporty vintage’y vibe. Marled body, solid accents, and subtle ribbed sleeve detail give it that easy, throw-on feel.

Rival tee is designed with approximately 15-20 cm / 6-8 inches of positive ease, meaning that the garment is 15-20 cm / 6-8 inches wider than the bust it’s intended for. Measurements of the tee:

Workflow
Rival Tee is worked from the top down. First, two separate shoulder pieces are worked. Stitches are then picked up along one edge of each shoulder piece to work the back yoke, which is shaped using short rows. Then again, stitches are picked up along the opposite edge of the shoulder pieces to work the front yoke, shaped using short rows while simultaneously shaping the neckline. Once the front and back yokes are complete, they are joined at the underarm, and the body is worked in the round. The sleeves are worked from the top down in the round and shaped using short rows. Finally, the neckline and sleeve cuffs are finished with applied double edge, which is worked in stockinette stitch using a single strand of yarn.
